Flying in first trimester??

Hey everyone I was planning a trip home in about 2 weeks I should be around 6w exactly when I leave, does anyone know if flying is safe to do this early on?? I am afraid to do anything that may cause harm!

I’m literally on a plane right now lol... I fly once a month at LEAST. I’m 7+1 today. I’ve had my first appointment already. No problems whatsoever. Happy travels!

I flew several times in the first six weeks and everything still looks great. Had my first ultrasound after my travels and all was/is well. One thing that freaked me out was the machines going through security, but after a quick minute on Google, I learned going through security is totally safe for my baby.

I flew in my first trimester and was fine. My doctor recommended against it due to heightened risk of blood clotting. But I had to because the trip had been booked so she insisted I buy good compression leggings or socks and to keep moving every hour or so. To be honest I think it's totally fine to fly in early pregnancy but my OB is all about avoiding any potential risk...

I flew when I was 5 weeks and returned home (also flew) at  6 weeks. I'm 9+3 now and everything seems so far so good!
