Bleeding on the pill?

Do y’all ever experience bleeding a week before your period while taking the pill? I’ve never skipped a pill and take it every day at the same time. I started having irregular bleeding at the beginning of the year so they change my pill to a higher estrogen and I think I’m starting to spot again. I’ve been on the pill for over a year and my doctor is no help.
