Any thyroid issues during pregnancy?

Hi, prior to becoming pregnant I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2014. Since 2014 my thyroid  has been stable on a low dose of synthroid. I went to my endo upon finding out I was pregnant he ran my TSH and said everything looks good and that he would take my 75 mcg to 88 mcg. He didnt want to do a big change  because I have been stable for so long. But said women with hypothyroidism  prior to pregnancy tend to need a bump in synthroid throughout. I got another TSH done after the slight med increase 4 weeks later. Now, the levels are stating I have an overactive (hyperthyroiid).. the endo is considering this odd becauss this kind of thing rarely happens. Was a wrong for going to my endo in the first place and having my dose changed? Has any ladies here had thyroid issues but still had a completely  healthy baby?
I'm nervous.

Hi! I have hypothyroidism. Do you know your levels? As long as they’re within normal range you should be good. My doctor told me that it’s only when *untreated* we’d have a problem, but since were being treated and checked regularly (I’ve been getting checked every 6 weeks), all is good.

Hyperthyroidism levels are okay during pregnancy. Because i previously had cancer my levels have to stay in that range and my doctor said it’s good for both conception and pregnancy. It’s hypothyroidism levels that can be worrisome. You just need to continue to keep getting them checked every 4 weeks.

You may want a second opinion. Dosage shouldnt need to be changed unless levels are outside of a “normal” range. Also, your baby shares those hormones until their own thyroid gland is fully developed (second trimester). It’s also possible you have Hashimotos, in that case it is normal for TSH, free T-4and T-3 levels to change all the time both high and low. 
I have read a lot from credible sources that the “normal” TSH rage given for pregnant women is way to narrow for those who have a diagnosed thyroid disease, the recommend the upper end to be around 5-6.

I have thyroid cancer just diagnosed last monday and found out i was pregnant friday. your levels will be off for a little while anyways because of the pregnancy but have your doctor and OB monitor it and make adjustments as needed. ❤️

I'm hypothyroidism and I've had my levels checked monthly. I've had my meds upped twice and am due another check in a couple of weeks to check whether they are still stable as they were at my last app x

I have been hypothyroid since 2008 and for the past 8 years have been on 75 mcg of Levothyroxine. While pregnant, my endo never changed my dose because my levels were looking good. I had my levels drawn each trimester to check. My thyroid is due to iodine deficiency (very rare) so maybe that’s the reason mine stayed stable? I would think that your endo would check your levels frequently and make the changes as needed.
