Have you ever taken Misoprostol?

I'm scared to death. I've already passed the baby sunday (well the sac w only a fetal pol) but i'm having pain issues and they told me i could take this and it would rush the process, but it will hurt really bad. I'm scared to death it will make it harder to conceive if we try again. Any advice?

Thank you. I was in ER today with out of control pain. It took us 6 years to conceive my son, and it's been 6 years from then to conceive this one. It's tough bc the pain is a constant reminder that i just lost a baby, so they gave me the option to speed it up. It just scares me since it took 6 years. :/

I miscarried naturally went into full blown worst pain ever labor when I lost baby at 18 wks then had to have a D&c for retained product then a few weeks later took cytotec bc bleeding hasn't stopped and holy F*uck the pain. I've delivered 3 times completely drug free and cytotec is horrid. Never again

I should add that it took me 1.5 years to conceive the baby I miscarried, so I definitely don't believe it harmed my chances of TTC. I never expected to get a positive again so soon, I just knew I'd be waiting and waiting again.

I took it after a D&C. I experienced no pain after hearing horror stories.  My doctor gave me pain meds but I didn't use them. I did pass tissue so everything wasn't out but I don't know if having the D&C first caused less pain?  I have had no problem conceiving. I found out last week that I am pregnant! My MC was in July.  I hope this helps and I hope you don't experience physical pain on top of the emotional pain you already feel.
