Ava Lee Truax was born Aug 19, 2019. 
The poor thing had a long day with a slew of minor complications.
Not only did she poop in the womb and have her lungs filled with the stuff, the cord was wrapped around her neck and her shoulder got stuck on the way out. They had to push on my belly and pull her out to get her looked at ASAP.
She was put in an incubator and rolled upstairs before I could hold her. It was heartbreaking.
We then learned she had an air pocket in her lung (pneumothorax) and a mild heart murmur. Everything is treatable and Ava is stable. We couldn’t be happier to welcome her into the world. 😍
