Which is correct?

So my daughter was born May 30th. She will be 12 weeks on Thursday. Technically 12 weeks is 3 months, but she’s not actually 3 months until August 30th. What do you moms say?

Weeks don’t convert to months. Months aren’t exactly four weeks, so twelve weeks isn’t necessarily three months.

I’d say 12 weeks when it’s been 12 weeks since they’ve been born.. but wouldn’t say 3 months until it’s been a full three months since they’ve been born.. months aren’t 4 weeks.

My daughter was born on the 10th, so every 10th of the month I add a new month onto her age. Regardless of how many weeks.
