Water breaking at 30 weeks ?

Has any one had their water break at 30 weeks having to stay in the hospital? What was the outcome ?

Had a good friends water break at 24 weeks. They kept her in the hospital and were giving her steroid shots. At 27 weeks she had developed her second infection and doctors decided baby was safer out than in at that point. She’s a bouncy, lively 3 year old now. 😊

My water broke at 29 weeks. They kept me in the hospital till he was born. I had to be induced at 32 weeks though because I developed an infection due to my water being broke for so long but that does not happen to everyone! But more then likely if you don’t go into labor on your own they will induce you also to make sure you don’t develop an infection but will try to keep her or him in there as long as they can ! My baby boy is healthy and wouldn’t even be able to tell he was a premie and had a month long stay at the nicu . Good luck momma ❤️
