How soon can you get the blood test to tell the gender and what is the test called?

I heard about this from someone and there was no real details and I’m overly excited to know so I was curious how quick you could get it done.

My midwife does the Progenity test and you must be at least 10 weeks to take it.

Do insurance companies usually cover the NIPT? I’m not sure if it’s apart of the maternity care insurance covers.

NIPT (noninvasive prenatal testing), usually offered thru your doctors office thru a third party called Harmony. They start at 10 weeks.

NIPT test if the doctor offers it. Maybe sneak peak if there’s a clinical option. I wouldn’t do the at home test personally. Risk of contamination. 
Can be done at 9+ weeks though. I did mine at 9+4 and got results in 10 business days.
