Since becoming a parent (pregnancy and after), what’s the best and what’s the worst advice someone has given you?

The best for me is: they have only been on this earth 2 years. How are they supposed to know what you know after you’ve been here 28 years?

-that one stuck out to me quite a bit and has helped me with my child and in my teaching career.

The worst so far was during when my LO didn’t want to nurse. They told me to just wait it out and he would eventually get hungry enough and come back to nursing.
