Do you still take your birth control pill while on your period?

This is my FIRST time ever being on the pill in all my life so idk how the rules apply😅 
I’m truly serious about my question

The mini pill does not have a placebo week. Take all your pills regardless of a period.

You take them all the time and you don’t take a break unless you want to get pregnant. They only work if you take them all the time consistently.

During your period, you take the placebo pills so you don't slip out of the habit and so you don't forget to restart taking them at the end of that week. The doctor and pharmacist should have gone over that.

Usually the pack has sugar pills in it or placebo pills. They should be a different color than the rest. Continue to take them through you period and finish the pack. When your through with them start a new pill pack.
