Post Break-up Birthday Wishes

My ex boyfriend and I broke up three weeks ago. I am now on a one week vacation in Florida, visiting my older siblings and this ex boyfriend was supposed to be on this trip too, had a plane ticket bought already and everything. Today is said ex boyfriends birthday and I am wondering how I should wish him a happy birthday without making it look like to him that I'm thinking a lot about it and him but to also show that I do care.
