How long after your babies were born did you have a date with your significant other? I'm feeling like I was forced into feeling some guilt so I wanted to rant/get some other's take on this.

We have a 3 yo and and 4 week old twins. My husband and I run a business together so he's been working non stop to cover for me since about a month before the babes were born until now. I literally see him a couple hours a day maybe if I'm lucky. I miss my husband and I've been momming so hard taking care of everyone and the house since my leave. I had an appointment yesterday so my mom came to watch the kids, my husband came with me and we went to dinner after just the 2 of us. We're in a small town so of course everyone knows us and that we have twins. All I heard was, "oh you're out already?" "Don't you have new babies at home?" " I didn't leave my babies for a year!"

Is it really so bad to take literally 3 hours, appointment included for myself/to catch up with my husband? They were in good hands, had plenty of pumped milk, and slept the entire time. I was made to feel like a total piece of shit for it. Just had to get that off my chest. It's been bothering me all day!
