How long do you let baby stay in the swing/rocker?

I have a mamaroo electronic rocker and ive been putting my baby in it while i do things around the house. The only thing is, i feel guiltt and constantly get the urge to take her out, hold her, change positions, do tummy time, etc. she rarely sleeps in it (in fact she rarely naps at all)...so how long can they really be in those things?

Unless they're flat on their backs, babies should change position every 2 hours.

I leave mine until he starts crying because he doesn’t like being inside. He is usually there for 20 to 30 minutes and he follows me with his head and moves his legs and arms. But I don’t think you should feel guilty.

I feel guilty after 10 mins. Most she's been in it at one time was about 20 because I just wanted to eat breakfast in peace.

My son will start making noise after 10-20 minutes. I get him out when he starts to not like it.

I think the longest I left him in it was about 90 minutes, because he was napping and I didn’t want to bug him. But generally I take him out after 30 minutes or so.

I swear, my baby lives in her swing😂
I was feeling guilty that she was always in her bassinet in our bedroom all the time, but she hated the swing. Now that she loves it, I don’t really feel too guilty. She will sit and relax staring out the window or fall asleep in it. Sometimes when I try and get cuddles and a nap in with her, she will cry until she’s back in her swing. That hurts a bit, but doesn’t happen often. 
If you feel guilty about not spending time with her, move yourself or her into the same room. My little girl loves watching me sing while I do makeup/clean kitchen. I’ll move the laundry into the living room and fold it there with her.

There’s no time limit. I don’t think any baby has suffered long term consequences from being in a the swing too long lol. Don’t feel guilty for needing to get your mom duties done. Baby would let you know if he needs something. Take advantage of that time because my baby hates the swing and rarely lets me put her down in general.
