Fertility strip help

Hello, I am new to using these strips. I have started using them like they had suggested so many days since the start of my period. I don’t know my cycle since coming off birth control so I thought it would be a good way to figure it out. I had an light LH strip (negative) T line showed three days ago and then totally faded away today. Did I miss my surg? Should I start earlier?
