Have you pierced your babies ears yet?

If you have at what age? If not when do you plan to? Any tips after getting them?

As a piercer please do not pierce your child until they are old enough to want them and know how to take care of their piercings

I did my now 5 year olds at 3 months. You’ll get tons of opinions on this but my 5 year old LOVES changing her earrings out and we never had problems. We will do my 2.5 month olds at her 4 month appointment because her doctor does it 🤗

We did our three year olds when she was 4 months! Went great, healed great, and she loves them

I got my daughters ears pierced like a week ago or two lol I always say if my mom didn't do it for me little I would have wanted them but would have been to scared of the needle then I would have been mad at my mom for not doing it for me young lol if she doesn't want them when she is older she can take them out. Either way it looks adorable and she is just fine :)

We chose not to with my daughter. Not because I’m against it but I want it to be a bonding thing for us. I feel like it will be more special for her to want them/ask for them later on & we’d plan a special day around it. She’s 3 now and I swear she’d be pulling on them all the time if she had her ears pierced lol

I have not pierced my daughters ears but I will say that I think it's recommend to wait untill after two months.

We pierced my now 5 year olds ears at 5 months old. We never had any issues and they healed great. She never played with them or anything. I haven’t decided if I want to pierce my 3 month olds ears yet.

I have a boy but if I had a girl she’s get them at one of her baby check ups. When you’re tiny and getting shots all the time what’s 2 more quick pops in the ear lol plus I had mine done as a baby

I'm going to wait until my LO asks for earrings, and then we'll talk about what that will be like and process it together.
