HE WAS WORTH ALL THE PAIN

Hello ladies

My baby boy made his debut arrival the day I was supposed to go in for induction. On August 12th I had a terrible headache, checked my bp and its was slightly elevated but nothing alarming. Woke up next morning August 13th my bp was 169/100 I immediately panic call my mother she told me to eat applesauce add ground cinnamon in it(🤷🏾‍♀️) without hesitation i did. Then I contacted my ob office and the midwife on call advised me to go into L&D.

I arrived at L&D around 10:30 am Tuesday 8/13 the monitored my blood pressure and everything it stayed high..... they admitted me and started the induction on that day. I received Pictocin via IV being that i was already 3 cm dilated around 3:30pm

Let the rough times begin:

So as I’m laying In bed my cousin is there with me mind you my fiancé is out of town working and wasn’t coming back until Wednesday (the day of my original induction) anyway I’m there talking laughing with her. My midwife came broke my water and said it was about to get more intense. About 30 mins later......My nurse came in checked on me looked at the monitor and was like “ you’re having a contraction, you feel it”.......I’m like nope but if that’s how it feels I’ll take it..... Needless to say contractions got more intense and I requested IV meds...... the longer I was in labor the more intense they got until I became delirious and requested the epidural...... After receiving the epidural seem like his heart rate kept falling which prolonged my labor because they stopped the Pitocin and I would no longer contract or dilated.... it took hours to get his heart rate steady enough to start me back on Pitocin. At about 5:00 am I was back on my drip.... 5:50am I was 10cm....time to push.... unable to feel my legs the nurse and my cousin held them because they felt like they were 1000lbs...after 3 hard pushes at
