Virginity before 20yrs vs after 20yrs: which is easier to live as within our society?

Being 22 in 2015 and walking this earth as a virgin is by far one of the most annoying subconscious things to deal with. Your family expects you to stay that way forever, everybody talks about sex, you can't relate to everyone's juicy sex stories, you don't wish to do it with just anybody since you've waited so long, and you don't want to rush into a relationship knowing that's a large component of it. I just wonder what others think about this topic.

I lost mine after 20 and I'm super glad I waited because it was with a man that I was falling in love with and today we are still together. I hated being a virgin, not being able to relate to conversations and having my family proudly announce that I was one 😒 and it does make wanting to date a tricky thought! But I'm glad I waited, I wouldnt change it 😊

Why do you want to blend in? Half these posts are regrets of being too young. Be thankful you haven't fallen into the temptation. Unique is better than the norm. Besides, those who've slept around...are you jealous of their std's too? Ew! Be strong, wait. Not enough people can say they waited till marriage. Society is flawed and women devalue themselves too regularly now.

I gave it up young. Put on unusual circumstances. I gave it to a great guy who still I talk to. I wish I had waited though. My friend is nearly 30 and still waiting for marriage. Hang on to it for as long as you can it's something you'll never get back.

My husband was a virgin until we got married and he was 33 years old.  I lost my virginity at 18, and deeply regret it.  If I would have known I would have found a man that waited (which is rare this day and age) I would have never had sex.  It wasn't worth it.  Not worth the heartache, not worth making sure if he was good in bed or not, none of it.

I lost my virginity when I was 15. Sex was not an open topic in my home or school. I've never been pregnant but in the beginning that was just luck. I was too young to understand... All of it. Love. Consequences. Heartbreak. I tell my little sister to wait until she's 18 because you'll understand your value and how not to be taken advantage of better by that age. Also, it's illegal to have sex with a minor.
