When did y’all start getting your cervix check to see if you dilated ?

How much you dilated? What week I’m 35 weeks I have an appointment on Tuesday so idk when she will start checking me ?

I am 36 weeks and had my appointment yesterday. She was already down there doing the Group B Strep test and asked if I wanted to be checked. I was curious so said yes. Turns out i’m 2cm dilated and 50% effaced!

I got checked at 36 and 4 days because he was doing group B. Dilated 2 cm but cervix still long. Checked again at 37 1/2 and not much change. Now he’ll check every week.

In the UK they don't check until you're in labour. It's not actually necessary

I first got checked at 35 weeks and was 1.5 cm and 80% effaced. 36 weeks it was 2cm and 80% effaced and 37 weeks (this week) 3cm and still 80% effaced.

I had gotten the GBS testing done yesterday at 35.6 weeks. But they didn’t check my cervix. Thinking probably next week at my appt. Going every week now. Getting excited.

I got mine checked at 36 weeks because she also did group b strep test. I was 1/2 cm dilated and slightly effaced. One week later I was checked again and was at 1cm and 80% effaced. I’m 38 weeks today and I haven’t decided if I’ll ask to be checked at my next appointment or not.

Mine won’t start until 38/39 which I prefer because you can be dilated for weeks and not go into labor so I don’t want to get my hopes up and then feel frustrated when Im not going into labor. Currently 37+5.
