I live in a house with 5 other roommates, including my bf and his cousin. My bf has always been a hardworking person but he recently got fired from the job hes had for 5yrs and hes been staying up late every night hanging out with his cousin and their friends drinking beers & such. It's been a while since we had a night in alone so I asked this afternoon if he would come to bed early tonight to watch a movie together. He said "yes, I promise". Around 9:30 I remind him that we planned to watch a movie together. He says ok soon. I remind him again at 10:30, he says yes coming in soon. 11 comes and I start to get a little upset. I reminded him that he promised me, and I have to work tomorrow so its going to be too late to start a movie. He says plans change and he will come to bed when he wants to because he is his own person. I told him I understand im not the boss of him and explained why I was upset. He said he understood and that he doesn't want to watch a movie. I go inside (window is open) and I hear his cousin mocking me and our other roommate laughing. I am really upset about all of this. I feel crazy and humiliated and angry and hurt. Idk if I have a question or not I just wanted to share.
