Period but still pregnant?

Now, I know this is “impossible”, but i was wondering if it has happened to anyone? Not light spotting, but a full on period? Just curious. Would love to hear stories. 😊

An actual,period would kill your baby. You can have period like bleeding, but you cannot have a period.

No one can have a period and be pregnant. They can bleed as if it’s their period but not a real period.

My mom had her period for 6 months and then at 8and a half months had a healthy baby boy.🙏everyone is different nothing is impossible.

My brother fraternity brother mom bled (period) first 5 months with him found out she was preg month 6 1/2 so possible my bff had period first 3 months of pregnancy

You cannot, I repeat, CANNOT have a period while pregnant. You CAN HOWEVER experience "period-like" bleeding. But it is NOT a true period; as a period is the shedding of your uterine lining- and would negate/eliminate a pregnancy! Many women get confused with the medical terminology and call any kind of bleeding around when theyr typical period is due, their "period". Again, if you are pregnant,  you will NOT have a period for at least 9 months. You CAN bleed but it is NOT a period/menstrual cycle. It's just bleeding (caused by many other factors , which is NOT a menstrual cycle). The only way to actually have a period (as defined medically- the shedding of uterine lining) is if you are one of the very rare people who have two uteruses. Pregnant in one uterus, and menstruating from the other. This is very rare in the medical field, but happens sometimes. So if you have one uterus, you are not having a period. Simple as that! (Its biology 101)

My SIL had what she described felt like a light period.  She basically spotted for weeks.  Baby is nearly 3 now :-).
