So yesterday (8/21) I had my 6 week postpartum appointment and got my IUD put in... I started bleeding almost right away. It stopped about an hour later. I wake up today (8/22) at 3:45am to go pee before my son wakes up for his feeding. Same for the cramping. I’m only slightly cramping though not as bad as when it went in. I was wondering .....

Is it possible that implanting the IUD caused my period to kick start????

Id call and ask but it’s only 4am and I can’t figure out their on call because it’s through a different number than the actual doctors office. Most likely going to call when they open at 8am.
