I had an emergency transvaginal scan back in January and they could only see sac and small yolk (barely visible) no fetal pole or heart beat. They dated me at 5+3.

When I went for my dating scan I was meant to be 12+2 (according to first scan) but measured 12+5.

My question is, if I was actually practically 6 weeks at the time of the early scan, why was there no fetal pole?

Was my baby just measuring a little bigger at dating scan??

Not sure what dates to go with to figure out conception.
