My Birthday 🎁 ADVICE NEEDED

My birthday is in September. I already told my BF what I wanted to do because he’s not into gift giving—which I THINK IS RIDICULOUS but whatever lol I told him ONE MONTH in advance. It’s dinner and a day walking a shopping district on the beach Ive never been to before.

I don’t want him to forget & I have a plan to keep reminding him & communicate to him the importance of it to me. I don’t want to be all disappointed & sad if he doesn’t remember after all that. WHAT DO I DO? I don’t want to dump him over this but it is important to me.
