How old for first Disney trip?

While I was at Disney World I started thinking about when I want to bring our first born to Disneyland/World for the first time because there was SO many kids ranging from as young as new born. So I wanted to see everyone’s opinion on what age you all think is the best time to take them. There’s so many things to think about like traveling with a stroller, being in high heat all day, etc. I personally think 4-5 if they are tall enough to go on all the rides just so they don’t miss out on anything.

We took my son to Disneyland at 1.5, he’s tall and rode a couple rides. We went in the fall time so it wasn’t hot and it was perfect. Now we’re gonna go again when he’s 3.5 and baby sister will be 4 months lol. He’ll be able to ride more of the rides now, super excited

I would honestly bring my kids when they’re like 7-8 and no younger than 5. I don’t have kids yet but I’m a daycare teacher and like, not only will younger kids not be able to remember and enjoy it properly if they’re super young, but the trip will be much more difficult for you if you’re dealing with a kid who’s still not fully potty trained or is in diapers so they could have blowouts etc. Disney is so busy and hectic without having to deal with accidents. 
And besides, it’s not like older children don’t still love Disney, you’d probs be good up until like 9-10 years old before they get into that “I’m too cool for kid stuff” phase 😂

I think 5+ is good. I strongly suggest that you go in the fall/winter because the humidity is hell the rest of the year. It is not fun to be walking around all day in that digusting heat. Try to plan everything ahead to make things less chaotic for you because the place is huge with so many attractions & things to do that it can be overwhelming. Best of luck!
