Has everyone seen something at 6 week ultrasound?

Went for ultrasound today sac is measuring 6 weeks 2 days so but couldnt see anything yet,dr said it could be really early..has this happened?? Or has it been bad news

It's normal and really depends. We did see our baby at 4+4 weeks, so tiny tiny. But it was pretty much a miracle we saw that

This was 6+1 and we could see the HB as well it was 113. Everyone is different though, especially depends on the equipment and how your uterus is positioned at the time. We didnt see anything at first then my uterus changed position after I peed.

Measuring a sac is not as accurate as measuring a fetal pole to get dates. I had an ultrasound at 5w3d where we could only see a sac and yolk sac, the gestational sac measured 6 weeks at that point. I went back a week later and we could see the baby and a heartbeat measuring 6w3d.

We saw baby and heartbeat at 6+2 but it was after a lot of trying. I have a tilted uterus and the tech said she surprised she saw it lol

To answer your question, I think it’s normal. I had my first US at 6+3 and saw a tiny tiny bean on the screen.
