Period stops, then starts again

Hi ladies. So I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else. So my period is usually 5 days, with the last two days being mostly spotting. The last 2 periods I've bled for 3 days and towards the end of day 3 I just start to spot. On day 4 I start with heavy blood again and then I'll just spot after a few hours. I had a miscarriage back in March so idk if maybe that had an effect on it?
