Anyone with a navel piercing??

Question

I have a navel piercing, which currently is still pretty loose with my growing bump. How long are you guys keeping yours in? Or are their any recommendations on when to take it out? I was going to try to keep mine in as long as I could but I’m not really sure what is best.

I kept mine in with my first until about 30 weeks when it started getting red from rubbing against my clothes and belly button starting to pop. No infection or anything and the whole didn’t close up 👍🏼 As soon as baby was born I put it back in. I’m 20 weeks with my second and will do the dame thing. When it starts to annoy me with rubbing on clothes and belly button I will take it out and put back in after baby is born.

With my second daughter I left my ring in to long and still have a scar to this day it was not pretty getting it taken out so I’d recommend the earlier the better good luck

I switched to maternity one with my first around 28 weeks and it ended up infected and I had to take it out because it just kept getting worse

I just took my belly ring out at 19 weeks ! It just became very annoying (getting caught on all my clothes) 😭😂. My belly button popped out . So I thought it was time😞, I wanted to keep it in forever lol

I took mine out when it started showing against my clothes 😂 people kept asking if it was my belly button popping out already and I just decided to take it out. I never put it back in and honestly I’m really glad I didn’t. I have a one year old now and I’m terrified of the things I’d get it caught on now, including her just pulling it out 😂

I had my belly belly pierced and I wanted to keep it in throughout the entire pregnancy. 
I bought a flexible bar and everything... 
But by 23 weeks, I had to take it out. It was causing an infection with my skin stretching and it became pretty painful. 
I’d recommend taking it out and trying to put it back after you have your babe 😊
I never put mine back in, but my friends have.

I'm 20 weeks and still have mine in. No issues yet, but am fully expecting to have to take it out. Remember, it can always be repierced after your baby is born (if it closes up) if you want it that bad.

I don’t have mine pierced but they sell some maternity ones online. Might be worth looking into if you don’t wanna take yours out.
