If your birth control contains estrogen, then it is possible. Estrogen increases the risk for breast cancer.

I believe it also increases your chance of stroke. I saw a neurologist for some weird left side numbness I was having. I was surprised the first thing he asked me was if I was on birth control. Apparently he has seen it happen. Luckily for me it just turned out to be a pinched nerve

I find it unfortunate how many have answered no. The pill is a good thing for a lot of women, but doctors need to be more forward in informing of the risks before handing it out like candy.

You literally sign a waiver saying you can potentially develop breast cancer. One of many reasons why I got off birth control, the pill.
