2.7 toddler not eating by himself 😭

Please help, asking for your advice: my 2.7 toddler is refusing to eat by himself at HOmE. He goes to Daycare and his teachers always complement how well he eats (by himself ofcourse at the daycare) - i always see his Empty lunch box which is tHE evidence, but as soon as he comes home he would not eat.., 😫 before i used to spoon feed him as he was playing or going around, more worse have him watch tv as eating, but after watching him how he eats so well at his school, i can not cater it all the time. What is your advice? Should i just leave him not to eat at home😭😭 first time mom here..
