How do you save FMU?

Do you just pee in a cup and sit it on the counter? Do you need to cover it?? Amazon is delivering new tests for me tomorrow and I want to test ASAP when I get them! Im 2 days late on my period and I swear when I was testing early I saw a faint line - but everyone else thought I was crazy and now no period so.

I have a jar that has do not use written on it in sharpie. I put the lid on after using it and place it behind the toilet where no one looks.

I think putting it in the fridge would be the best option if letting it sit. When I did a few 24 hour urine tests I had to keep them in the fridge because bacteria grow when kept warm.

My obgyn had me save FMU and she gave me a little cup with a super tight lid and told me to put it in the fridge.
