Need Help!

I know it's a bit early but I'd rather get started now rather than later. My friend is having a Halloween party this year and the theme is "Nations". The hostess and her family are going to be representing alone middle Eastern country (I cannot remember which one). So my question is; what would be a good, cheap, easy costume to do for myself my husband and one year old boy?
