Is it ok to ttc while engaged?

Ive heard alot of criticism on this subject, whats your opinion??

I personally would rather wait I want to enjoy married life before having a baby because being married is different than dating and I want that full experience before starting a family but that's just me

We weren't necessarily "trying" but we made the decision for me to come off birth control during our engagement.. About 3 months before our wedding. We wanted to start our family sooner rather than later, and wanted to be sure my body had time to regulate off of birth control. We found out about the pregnancy on our wedding day, so we jumped the gun a bit, but it was the best wedding present ever! ☺️
