Nicknames for Astrid?

I don’t want my kid to end up being called “Ass” all the time, but we looooove the name Astrid. Suggestions?

I know an Astrid and nobody ever calls her “ass” lol. They just call her Astrid all the time. Not every name needs a nickname.

Not every name needs a nick name! My sons name is Abel and I got told everybody would call him Abe (not that I cared) 
NOBODY calls him Abe. 
But if you’re wanting a nickname the only one I can think of is Trid/triddsy.

Astrid was our top girl name and still is! (Of course we are having a boy haha) I have never thought about nicknames for it because it’s just so beautiful and strong! I would want to use the whole name!
