Do/did you have to take a 24hr urine collection?

My blood pressure has ONLY been high when I go to the doctors office. Today it was 160/92 and 150/90 when taken within 10 minutes or so apart. Because of this I was sent to L&D for NST, blood work, and urine collection. While in the doctors office my urine came back negative for protein, but in L&D it came back positive for protein. Because of this I’m on a 24hr urine collection. I have to catch all of my urine and put it into a large jug. After 24hrs I will deliver it back to L&D for further testing. Due to having protein in my urine and an elevated blood pressure, I’m now being monitored for preeclampsia. Doctor was almost adamant about being induced this evening, but we now have a scheduled induction for next Wednesday night at 37 weeks 4 days. This wasn’t in the plans, but were looking forward to meeting our sweet baby.
