Omg is early pregnancy insomnia really a thing????!!!

🤦🏻‍♀️ I just got a bfp last week, starting to feel the nausea and the upset stomach with food aversions.. and then there’s this late night insomnia!!! Wtf! Is this common? I’m tired asf inthe day time and it’s 12:55am and I can’t fall asleep !

So glad someone posted about this! 
I’m awake every night at 3 am! Can’t fall back to sleep even after hours of trying again. So tired during the day and night time comes around and bam! I’m awake. 
Glad I’m not the only one.

Very common, I reached the point of desperation and took unisome to get some good sleep. Benadryl is a good option too but unisome worked best for me.

Yup! And I’ve got insomnia without being pregnant so I can’t wait to see how worse it gets if I get pregnant again 🥴😴😴

Yep! Not gonna lie, I knew unisom was recommended and safe for morning sickness so I took a half tab of it to go to sleep some nights 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was the only way I could definitely get a full night’s rest in although it did leave me feeling a little groggy when I woke up so I’d usually only take it when I could sleep in.

i actually slept sooo great the first half of the first tri, i’m 10+5 now and as soon as i hit ten weeks is when the insomnia hit me and it sucks! i’m tossing and turning all night long, even moved to the couch several times so i didn’t wake my husband 😔
