Stay at home mommies, help!

I’m a working mommy about to spend a full day with baby at home alone for the first time in a very long time! What do you & baby’s schedule look like all day? Activities or just how to manage your day.

Please I’m anxious and I know it may sound ridiculous to some please don’t judge.

UPDATE:

Thank you so much to everyone who commented. Little tips really helped! Yes I do have her on the weekends but I live with family so everyone gets to play with, feed, and spend time with baby. I guess I was just nervous. I feel guilty that I felt nervous.

The day actually breezed by. Between nursing sessions, watching me prepare food, tummy time, floor time, and eating a meal... it was so much fun. Thank you mommies ♥️

Our schedule is We wake up, change diaper and nurse. Then he falls asleep when he is done and we take a nap together on the bed for an hour or so. Get up, have a bottle and start the day. Pick out clothes to get out of jammies. I set him on the floor to play in his baby gym while I put away any milk I collected in the morning in my haaka and make breastfast for me and oatmeal for him. Bring it over and sit him in his chair to eat. When he’s done with that I either sit him on the recliner with me to practice sitting or put him back on the floor to play so I can eat my food. Then I get down omg he floor and play with him. Once he’s tired and ready for a nap I lay him down and try to do quiet chores if he naps okay. Sometimes naps are a fight for us. We read, practice brushing our teeth. I put him in his walker to play, his swing to relax before naps. He spends a lot of time playing with different toys on the floor and me helping him. I carry him around and explain everything I am doing when he seems bored with the toys. We haven’t been able to get out much this summer because it’s been scorching hot and tons of wildfire smoke outside.

On my days off I find I liek to get out of the house midday between naps. I think it helps him from boredom and me from losing my mind. I always think “ I want to stay in and get chores done” but not as many ever get done as I set out and I always feel like crap in the end. Get out! Do your grocery run or see a friend or something.

Our schedule changes daily depending on what time she wakes up and how long naps are. During awake time we play on the floor (tummy time, time on back & sitting), jump in jumper, take the dog on a long walk, read books, feed solids (lunch & dinner time), and run errands if needed. Some days I create a "water table" for her on her highchair tray (she loves water). I've also been looking into sensory activites on Pinterest. We are going to do a jello dig today (made sugar free jello & put some toys in for her to dig out).

My son wakes up around 7:30am I change him feed him then he gets to play. He crawls around the floor picking up toys looking at them playing with them. I have a play mat and one of those water mats for him to play on. He normally rolls around in the floor for an hour and a half. Then he goes in his walker for about a half hour then back in the floor. He’s eating about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. So he plays then feeds until about 11 then he goes down for a nap. Normally he wakes up after a hour maybe 2 depending on how he slept the night before. Then back to feeding and playing until about 4 then he has another nap. After he wakes up from that nap it’s the same feeding and playing then at 8:30pm he gets a bath then he gets his last bottle while I rock him in the rocking chair and sing to him then it’s off to bed at about 9:30 or 10.

It's mostly just a cycle of eating, napping and playing. My girl nurses to sleep, so we don't do eat, play, sleep (I just can't get her to! She always goes back to this). She wakes around 7ish, naps around 9:30, then is awake until about 1 and depending on if that is a long or short nap she will nap again around 3:30 and if that is a good one she'll be awake until we get ready for bed around 7:30.You can always ask whoever is watching your baby for their schedule too!

Wake up. Bottle. Nap on me.Wake up, play time with dada, bottle, food, play time, nap.Wake up, play time, sitting on us occurs 60% of the day, watch us do chores, pass him back and forth. Bottle. Nap.Wake up, play time followed immediately by bath, sleep.Wake up, nap.Wake up, bottle. Sleep from 10-6am then repeat. It’s really not exciting, his naps are 30 minutes long and we get no time to ourselves. He gets bored cause we aren’t enough to entertain him. So use lots of toys and sing songs and play games or make it fun if you bring baby to help with chores or something.
