Is it possible to get a false positive?

Hey ladies!

I took a test a week ago (4 days before i was due to get my monthly visitor) and it came back negative. This morning (4 days late now) I took anaother and it was positive!

This is our first and I am a little clueless....is it possible it could be wrong? I do not want to get excited if it is not for sure.

Should I get excited?

False positives are extremely rare (almost unheard of). I would get excited if I were you. :)

You're pregnant. the first one (the negative) was wrong because you tested too early.

False positives are super super rare. You really don't want one of those.

Possible? Yes, but not really.   You can have an evap line or chemical pregnancy or just faulty test, but none of those really look quite the same as a real positive.   Yours looks like an actual positive though.
