Any tips on mother separation anxiety???

My son turns 8 months old on the 26th.im a first time mother!
I still haven’t been able to get back to work or even get a pedicure or anything having to do with ME time, because I get horrible anxiety !i don’t trust anyone with my son, and even if my husband is watching him while I get a half hour work out in while he’s sleeping I’m constantly looking at the house camera! No one ever warned me about separation anxiety from my child!😞 anyone feels similar when being away from their babies??? or has any tips to deal with it ???

I would say just do it. Let your mom or someone you trust take the baby for an hour. The more you do it the more comfortable you will be with it.
Also maybe talk to your dr about your anxiety. I think that more intense than normal. You may want to get on an anti-anxiety medication. I did and it was so worth it.

My son is 1 in 5 days and I have bad separation anxiety and not just that we dont trust a single person to look after our son (we have our reasons). What makes it worse is when I'm told that I need to leave him to get used to it, hell no. I love spending every minute with him and I'll do it when IM ready not when I'm told to! I'm currently pregnant with our second and this pregnancy has been rough and I've had a few hospital trips. But I waited until I put my son to bed and until he was fast asleep before I left to go to the hospital. This has happened twice (so far). It's got to the point (my partner agrees to this because we dont trust anyone from both sides of our family due to other reasons) that I'll probably give birth by myself whilst my partner is with our son. I do not need the extreme anxiety whilst in labour and delivery worrying about my son and who's care he is in. I'd rather go into labour and delivery by myself knowing my son is in the best hands and I'll be fine because I'll be with the professionals. 
One thing I can only give advice on is dont let anyone pressure you into doing anything you dont want to do! Go at your own pace and it doesnt matter how long it takes!

Honestly, the only tip I have is that the first time is the worst and it does get better. I had anxiety when leaving my LO with my parents for a date night and it was worse when I left him at daycare the first time. As difficult as it was (I literally felt like I would be sick, heart racing, had a hard time walking....) I was watching the clock the whole time counting down the minutes 😩 but after the first time it was better. I did ease myself into it. First 2 hours, then 4 (twice), then the full day. And I gave myself days in between. Sometimes you just have to do what you know is right for you, your LO will be fine. Especially if it's your husband. :) Start small and then add time slowly.
