Call me crazy, I know I know but after reading some stuff online, I was wondering if after getting my IUI done, should I try and orgasm right after? I read from multiple sources that a woman having an orgasm can cause the uterus to contract which can help the sperm travel into the Fallopian tubes. I mean I’ll have to sit there for 10-15 with my feet up anyways after the procedure. Worth a shot?

With an IUI I don’t feel like the sperm needs assistance getting to Fallopian tubes. They literally put the sperm as close as possible. If they recommended orgasms- they would be telling you to try when they leave the room for that 15 minutes to help their stats 🤷🏼‍♀️

Depending on how you plan to accomplish that, I feel it might interfere more. I know this isn’t really possible given the situation but I used to have an orgasm right before the sperm entered and hope it had had some residual effect
