When do you get your first ultrasound

This is my second baby but I forgot when you get your first ultrasound

It really depends, sometimes they do it to confirm the pregnancy, sometimes they do it to make sure everything is developing. So it can range between 7-12weeks.

I got my positive test on Thursday but I see obgyn for ultrasound and blood tests etc Monday i am high risk after my second son was low fluid and had multi cystic dysplastic kidney..

With my first they wouldn't schedule me until 8 weeks but when I got there it turned out I was only 6w4d. I saw my little bean and heard his heartbeat as well! He is now a healthy and happy 14 month old. I'm currently 4w4d pregnant with baby number 2 and I just had my first ultrasound 2 days ago. Thought I was at least 6 but ended up only being 4w2d. Didn't see the baby just the gestational sac so I have to go back in 3 weeks. I've been worrying myself way too much since and I think that is part of the reason some doctors won't order an ultrasound until you're at least 6/7 weeks. I wish I would have waited because it has caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

My dr does first ultrasound between 10-12 weeks! Found out not too long ago thanks ladies and can't wait!

I got mine at 7 weeks, baby looked like a fuzzy jelly bean, but they couldn't see the heartbeat yet. I go back for another ultrasound at 11 weeks
