Irregular period after miscarriage?

Has anyone had very irregular periods after miscarriages? And how long till it became regular?

Answer

I had normal length cycles, but I pretty much spotted a week before AF and until ovulation afterwards. I had to take progesterone last cycle to get the spotting to stop. So far, so good. It can take a while for things to get back to normal, but I was very impatient and insisted my dr give me something to help, as I had already waited two months for my hcg to go down. So, in all it's been about three cycles until back to normal... so far.

I did--just posted a long note about my post-miscarriage journey. My bleeding lasted three weeks for the first two cycles after my miscarriage. It turns out that misoprostol didn't completely rid my body of necrotic tissue. My best advice would be to request an ultrasound (if you can) to make sure you don't have the same thing.
