Husband looking up ex wife?

How would you feel if you found out your husband had looked up his ex wife on Facebook and Instagram? Most of my friends and family say it’s no big deal but it’s really bothering me. Looking to see how others would feel about this?

If it was a one time thing, it wouldn't bother me. People get curious and it's harmless. If it's not a common occurrence, he didn't try and contact her, ect, I don't personally see a reason to get upset

I looked at my high school boyfriend’s wedding pictures the other day. He and I haven’t spoken since 2009. If my partner made a big deal about this, he wouldn’t be my partner.

I think sometimes we all have a general interest in how an old friend or flame is doing or what they are up to 🤷‍♀️ I’ve caught my fiancé looking up random women before but I know it’s in the same context as me .. really out of boredom . If you feel that there’s something more to it , you may want to have a conversation with your husband .

If he was doing it every day I wouldn’t like it too much, but I think it’s totally normal to be curious about what has happened to people who used to be a huge part of your life and aren’t anymore. I have an ex girlfriend and i was the one who broke up with her - we were not right for each other at all but it kind of shattered her for a while, so sometimes I just look her up to make sure she’s alright. I have no interest in being with her or even contacting her again but sometimes you’re just curious how people are doing.

Depends I guess. I know my ex husband looks at my profile a lot but I’m sure it’s more to get dirt on me, to check on the boys, or because he wants to talk shit lol. I’ve gone on his profile for pure curiosity especially when he has our boys. I think it’s hard not to be curious about someone you spent so many years with and have kids with. I mean is he liking her pictures and jacking off to them? That’s when I’d be pissed. But just snooping or whatever ? Pretty normal I suppose

People get curious and that’s no big deal if it’s just a one-time thing; but it also means she came across his mind and that would bother me. But not enough to really read into it much.

I’ve had the same with my partner and his ex girlfriend. So I called him out on it. He says it’s just curiosity and I’ve explained how uncomfortable it makes me and that I wouldn’t do it with any ex’s of mine. After having a conversation we both understood each other’s sides more and I don’t think he’d ever do it again because of how uncomfortable I find it but I have also realised he’s not done it because he still has feelings for her and is sat there lusting over pictures of her, it doesn’t need to be a massive deal just communicate your feelings. If he carry’s on then I’d be upset but I think that goes with most things if your partner does something purposely they know is upsetting you without a really valid reason x
