Elective ultrasound worth it?

Ok ladies so I’m dying to know the gender of my baby so we can do an announcement on my fiancé’s birthday wed.. but is it worth it to pay for a gender ultrasound when I have my anatomy on September 11th I’ll be 21 weeks by then!

Totally worth it for me! I got mine done at 17weeks and you could clearly tell it was a boy. Plus I got a whole flash drive of pictures, so nice

I loved it! They take their time and the place I went to printed 5 pictures, recorded videos of my ultrasound, and took like 20 pictures that they shared to my email. I now have downloadable videos of my Rainbow baby kicking, punching, and sucking which I have saved to my phone. Along with extra pictures I downloaded!

The best decision I made this pregnancy was paying for the private scan. It was so homely and personal. Clearly a girl at 16 weeks, the technology these days is so accurate the place I went to guaranteed gender from 14 weeks. My 20 week scan is next week but I’ve already known about my little girl for a month now, can’t imagine still not knowing!!

Personally i’d wait. I had to have an ultrasound when I was almost 17 weeks. I asked the tech to check and see if she could tell what the gender was. She checked and still couldn’t tell. So now i’ll have to wait until the 20 week anatomy scan to hopefully find out. Totally your decision though!!!

At this early I’d wait. The more developed baby is, the more likely they’ll get a good glimpse and give the correct gender.
