Baby sick with cold congestion????

Hi mamas. Need some advice maybe. Or just to be told that this is normal. My son is suuuuper congested and absolutely miserable and screaming. We have been doing a saline irrigation with the nose frita, hot water steam room, vibrating chair, burping back, etc. his temp is 100.4. I’m not scared by any means of his health, I know it’s just his first bad cold since he started day care this week (he’s 12 weeks), but I feel awful for him!!!! What else can I do? Is it normal for him to be crying and screaming nonstop during a cold? Should I just expect to drink coffee and stay up all night? (He is most upset laying down. Right now only is comforted / sleeping while up over the shoulder like he’s burping). How long does this most miserable day last? I feel so sad for him!
