Anyone else using prefolds for pocket diapers?

I’m done with microfiber and looking for a better insert. How well does prefolds do in pockets?

Best, best, BEST insert in my opinion. My girls pee so much so often and without prefolds cloth diapering overnight would not be an option. I'm able to get by with 2 changes a night and they wake up with zero leaks and the lining of the pocket diaper is dryer than I could have ever imagined. The bulkiness is the only downside but it's not bad when using overnight. I double up on microfiber liners for day use.

I use prefolds in pockets. 1st it was his infant size prefolds now I use medium size as well as flats, all pad folded.
The flats are not as bulky but the prefolds hold more. Personally the fluff butt doesnt bother me but if I want a trimmer diaper Ill just grab one that has a flat in it.

I have a few newborn prefolds that I sometimes put in pockets.. i feel like it’s so bulky, but it absorbs well

Really well. I got a “medium” size and trifolded them.
