Makeup rubbing off

I had the biggest oof!! I have oily skin and I wear foundation. I’m usually pretty oily at the end of the day. I’ve been talking to this guy and we finally hung out and went to one of my friends kickback. We were making out in the living room and he was pretty rough like smashing his lips on me and all anyways we went to the kitchen and I saw that my makeup was all over his face and I felt so embarrassed... I don’t think he noticed because it wasn’t crazy obvious but he is dark skinned and I’m pretty fair so I didn’t really know what to say but I think he rubbed it off by himself unintentionally by just touching his face! How do I prevent this from happening again like just thinking about it makes me cringe
