So we’re having our 2nd and probably last child. We are having a 2nd boy. Many people I know are also having their 2nd and all are having the opposite sex of their first child.

Can I just vent about the annoying responses that I see from people towards a family who is having a same sex child as their first vs those who are having the opposite sex. The people who are having the opposite sex get the wonderful comments like: oh your family is complete now; perfect little family; now you have one of each happy happy and so on.

Here have been my comments towards my family: oh your going to have your hands full; deng it we were hoping for a girl; now you need to try for number three. It’s making me really resentful as if this child is less special because i am not completing the perfect equation of 1 boy and 1 girl.
