Period problems

So I’m 16 and without birth control my period normal lasts 7-14 days very heavy but since I started birth control my Period has been consistent and regularly timed each month although this month I missed one pill which has started a 15 day long period and tomorrow is when my actual period is supposed to begin. I have missed one pill before but it has never had this effect and I’m just looking for any advice to help
