How long is too long between feeds? When I was in the hospital with my LO the midwives put the fear of God into me that I can't go more then four hours between feeds, they never gave me a reason but told me that I must not do it, and even checked on us every four hours to make sure we were feeding.

Now my LO is three weeks old, is gaining weight well has lots of wet nappies and poos once a day, he's formula fed and takes 2-3ounces per feed normally. Now it's been more then four hours since his last feed and he's sound asleep and not interested in his bottle. Question is should I be worried or let him sleep?
