Hey gals!

I got a copper IUD a little over a week ago. My boyfriend and I had sex today and afterwards I noticed some spotting. Has anyone experienced this? I looked it up online and Mayo says it might be possible that my IUD has been displaced, but everything feels fine to me.

I’m definitely going to call my doc on Monday, but I’d just like to know if this is common.

P.S. I can’t remember if I have spotted after sex before I got the IUD. I think I have maybe once or twice
